2. Inspiration for my front cover was this
picture of a young classical music talent
called Sarah Chang (left). Although she his
holding a different instrument the whole
idea of the way she is holding the
instrument and the way she is stood was
something that inspired my front cover
image due to that fact it shows herself and
the instrument very clearly and suits the
conventions of a front cover image, the
conventions in the case of a classical music
magazine being that its clear to see the
person and the instrument , also she is also
dressed very smartly and elegantly which
was the type of look I was going for, for my
model. Chang’s dress is also a convention of
a classical music magazine as it is delicate
and formal which fits in with the
conventions of a classical music magazine
(separate PowerPoint on the outfits of
classical music magazine models) . Also the
make up of Sarah Chang also inspired me
because her make up is simple and shows
her youth, which is the type of look I went
for, for my model as my model is suppose
to represent new young talent.
