8. A Short Summary of Macbeth
Macbeth is a famous drama of William Shakespeare. Macbeth, Lady
Macbeth, Three Witches, Duncan, Banquo etc are some important
characters in it. Over ambition of Lady Macbeth leads this drama into a
tragedy.
Duncan was the King of Scotland and Macbeth was one of the skillful
commanders of the King. Once, three witches predicted three prophecies,
fortunately or unfortunately two of them became true, so he think that the
third will surely become true that is,, he will be the King of Scotland. This is
the core incident of the Tragedy. Macbeth killed the King.
Duncan’s sons and Banquo’s son prepared a trick to kill Macbeth as a
revenge. Finally Macbeth killed by them and Lady Macbeth become mad.
