Texas Children’s Hospital – Office of Development March 2013 to present
Development/Administrative Assistant, Houston, Texas
Process weekly fundraising reports for director and managers including donor weekly and
transformational reports via Raiser’s Edge. Coordinated the Houston Fall Forum and The
Woodlands Fall Forum within 6-weeks of each other. Inputted accepted and declined
RSVP’s in Raiser’s Edge, processed weekly and daily reports for both forums, assisted the
Events team with table assignments and ensured accuracy of registration lists. Results:
Registered 488 people for the Houston Fall Forum for an overall success rate of 330 attended
which calculated to 68% attendance. For The Woodlands Fall Forum: 503 registered; 351
attended; and, 69.6% attended.
Process procards, birthday cards, process eBer requests and maintain budgets for each
manager on a monthly basis meeting deadlines. Process check requests, order supplies, order
business cards, input data such as actions and notes in Raiser's Edge and purchase items
online or off campus for events and donor gifts. Update budget spreadsheets on a monthly
basis for supervisors. Results: Successfully complete all requests within 24-48 hours of
request. Budget sheets are available to supervisors at a moment’s notice.
Lead contact for hospital tours for visitors from Latin American countries (for the
Development department). Use translation services as needed. Results: 98% availability and
successful internal and external customer satisfaction.
Primary contact for Spanish-speaking community regarding corporate and individual
donations, events, clinic needs and face-to-face interviews. Results: 94% success rate

Texas Children’s Hospital - Immunization Project August 2008 to March 2013

Assisted with translation of "The Vaccine Preventable Diseases - The Forgotten Story" (VPD)
authored and produced by Texas Children's Hospital including marketing materials and
accompanying posters. Results: Company did not have to hire an outside consulting firm to
translate materials.
Coordinated marketing efforts by returning calls and emails within 24 hours to Spanish and
English speaking customers requesting purchase of VPD products. Results: Managed
distribution of 500,000 marketing materials and posters worldwide from 2010-2013.
Coordinated locations of six mobile immunization vans for external resources on a monthly
basis. Translate and record script in English/Spanish for Autodialer on a weekly basis.
Results: Educational information reached on the average of 150,000 patient families per
month.
Monitored and tracked a specific cost center to within 5% of a $250,000 budget. Results:

Contributed to the budget process by assisting manager with plans for expected expenses for
the coming year. Results: Proposed creative budgeting process to ensure compliance with
budget requirements. Due to my proposal, we were able to purchase more educational and
instructional materials for up to 7,000 employees.
Conducted monthly audit of approximately 3,600 MedComp files to ensure accuracy.
Designed and created reports for upper management. Results: Management asked other
departments to use reports I created as a template for reporting.
Implemented and tabulated satisfaction surveys regarding office professionalism from clients
