SUMMARY
I have an abroad base of knowledge and/or skills including: product and process knowledge, problem
identification and analysis, writing and reporting skills, PC skills, training skills, quality management skills,
leadership and influencing skills. I am very well versed at organizing schedules and completing projects on a
timely basis. I have ability to work in confined spaces
I created innovative (in-process and final) CMM programs with PC-DMIS, Mini- tab and Calypso, to permit
accurate measurement of CNC machine tooling performance and part/assembly process capability. Provided
comprehensive and versatile reports for statistical analysis, problem solving, and data interpretation.
Improved quality control at with corrected and improved CMM programs (PC-DMIS).
I am well versed in GD&T, SPC, QS 9000, ISO 9001 and internal quality Audit, Advanced Microsoft Excel,
Microsoft Work, Gage Repeatability/Reproducibility. APQP, S.P.C. charting, PPAP, Control Plan, Flow Chart, ISIR,
FEMA, caliper, micrometer, height gauges, dial indicators, comparators, bore gauges, gage blocks, surface plate, plug gauge, thread
gauge, optical devices, Dye penetration and CMM, Blueprint reading, ISO And QS9000
Professional Experience
Quality Technician/ CMM Programmer–SPX Flow, Delavan, WI▪ April 2009– Present
Responsible for creating, updating and troubleshooting all coordinate measuring machine programs.
Performs first piece inspections by verifying setups at each manufacturing operation.
Performs in-process inspections at specified stages in the production process. Collects and evaluates
statistical data during production process.
Provides feedback to production machinists and management.
Performs final inspections of purchased and manufactured product.
Segregates and evaluates nonconforming product.
Cleans, maintains, and calibrates precision measuring and test equipment.
Assess product conformance to customer requirements and evaluates product quality via gateway
inspections.
Verify product quality through electrical tests such as ratio, high-pot and Meggar tests. They take
samples for DGA, PCB, oil and air particle counts, moisture content, and dew point.
Audit various documents, processes and products to determine the effectiveness of operator
inspections and also to assess compliance to standards and engineering requirements.
Verify product conformance to customer requirements.
Gather data and performs analysis to determine the root cause of problems identified through, NC’s,
FDR’s, audits and assessments.
Apply SPC controls to monitorand control a process to ensure that it operates at its full potential to
produce conforming product.
Identify non-conforming materials and documents, investigates, labels, segregates, repairs and resolves
issues.
Validate processes that cannot be monitored by inspection activity through scheduled sampling of the
internal oil and air systems, oven temperature control, vapor phase performance, etc. Audits shop
processes.
Work with Customers, Purchasing, Engineering, Manufacturing and Suppliers to communicate
requirements, verify processes, and identify opportunities for improvement.
Verify that manufactured and purchased parts conform to engineering specifications and drawings
utilizing a Laser Tracker or CMM
Mark up manufactured parts for finish machining operations as required by the manufacturing routing
2. Provide subassembly personnel with inspection data when adjustments are required to meet final
accuracy requirements
Verify that subassemblies meet the accuracy requirements specified by engineering specifications and
drawings
Create programs for Laser Tracker and CMM from part drawings and CAD data
Create inspection reports from gathered data and process Defective Work Tickets
Test and inspect manufactured products at various stages of the production process.
Create updates and troubleshoot all coordinate measuring machine programs and compiles and
evaluates statistical data.
