Layout & implementation of Win NT 4.0/95 system running TCP/IP netbeui & ipx/spx
Layout & implementation of dist. 95/98 system with faxserver running tcp/ip
Layout & build of > 200 pc’s including tomcat boards, mirrored scsi doublewide hard disks,
nic’s & multiple modems, mac friendly Instrumentation design, implementation for independent
test laboratory
Project management for multiple projects including NIST ATP for enhanced heat transfer
systems with in excess of 600,000 data points
L3 Communications, Camden, N.J. 6/1996- 7/1997
Test Engineer
Developed custom test equipment to perform BERTS and audio & video tests on secure
pc/video/fax phones (STE). Developed nitrogen purge/pressurization system for airborne power
supply applications. Negotiated with design engineering to implement boundary scan
technology in new product types to assist with production test.
Aerotek Contract Engineering Services, Wayne, Penna. 6/1995- 6/1996
Test Engineer
Improved the design of custom test equipment to further automate the test process.
Debugged special test equipment and eliminated design flaws associated with RF satellite
communications payloads. Improved software control methods to assure test programs are up to
the latest revision.
Performed acceptance level testing on communications payloads for use on satellites.
Lockheed Martin, Moorestown, N.J. 1989- 1995
Test Engineer
Designed, programmed, trained personnel for and maintained custom Automatic Test
Equipment (ATE) for testing analog/digital/RF circuitry associated with the AEGIS radar system.
Selected, programmed and maintained standard ATE for use in testing analog/digital/RF
circuitry. Wrote programs in Basic, Pascal, RT11, Factor and DOS to automate production testing.
Performed failure analysis, isolation, and provided statistical reports of test data for SPC on
circuit boards and custom ASIC’s. Performed cost analysis and multimillion dollar capitol
equipment justifications. Supported 4 work centers with weekly throughput of 2000- 3000 units,
10,000–20,000 units, 350–400 units (2) Each work center was its own project with diverse
technical requirements
General Electric, Moorestown, N.J. 1987 - 1989
Test Engineer
Designed, programmed, trained personnel for and maintained custom Automatic Test
Equipment (ATE) for testing analog/digital/RF circuitry. Performed failure analysis, isolation, and
provided statistical reports of test data for SPC. Implemented robotic probing machines for use
in automated test applications. Performed cost analysis and capitol equipment justifications
RCA, Moorestown, N.J. 1985 - 1987
Tested and modified prototype designs for high power radar transmitters and phased array
radars.
Designed video processor boards for prototype infrared ccd cameras, designed enclosure for
space shuttle applications.
Significant Accomplishments
Managed and led a team of engineers and technicians to bring a formerly unprofitable business
into a profitable status. Also was instrumental in selling said business to a competitor
Negotiated equipment trade in's which showed up to 25 thousand dollars profit .
Brought prototype project from 3 months behind to 2 months ahead of schedule within 6 months
Managed NIST ATP Hydronic Coil Test program with 600,000 data points
Setup, procured and designed instrumentation system for Bio Safety Level-II lab for use in R&D
associated with real-time neutralization of biological simulants for anthrax (bacillus globigii) and
smallpox (ms2).
Knowledgeable of chemical, magnetic & hydroxyl radical treatments of water systems.
Developed custom test protocols for innovative hvac units
