Research, qualify and deploy new low cost high performance instrumentation, techniques and
technologies to be used in production to reduce TMC and improve quality of products.
Development, documentation and maintenance of Automated and manual Test systems,
development of test fixture, test fixture electronics, and Automation software for RF (900MHz)
based Water endpoints (60W, 100W and 80W-i) and GE Solid State meter modules. Work
closely with hardware, Firmware and mechanical design team to make sure that product has
features to facilitate manufacturing using DFM techniques,while keeping the test times as low
as possible, test all aspects of functionality to make sure that customer is safe. Write
manufacturing test specifications and test requirements documents, develop test procedures,test
equipment selection and implementation. In addition, also responsible for all the Water and
electric ERTs product lines MOL, test systemimprovements and troubleshooting.
Manufacturing process steps includes Program test and tune, Solder station, Assembly and
labeling, Final functional test,Laser Mark and pack station. Standardizing processes across the
production floor to reduce implementation costs and time. Developed an interface circuit for
battery attach station which can be used for any product throughout the factory,hence reducing
time to implement a new product/line. Developed an application in Visual C# .NET to collect
production quality information, including 1st pass Yield, over all yield information. Also part of
the team to designed factory database and reporting systemon internal network.

Developed MSMFT and WECO MFT to test various kinds of the meter modules. These tests
were developed to test the modules with various kinds of the field parameters while being
installed in the meter, to make sure that the module is transmitting all of the required data

NRTS (Network RMA Tracking System)
Developed Network RMA Tracking systemusing Borland C++ Builder 5.0 and SQL server to
track repair process of network products all the way from order receiving to shipment of MCCs,
LAN Radios, WAN Radios and Repeaters.
Accomplishments: This tool helped us analyze the trend of orders and process,helped improve
our systemand increase the quality of the repaired products.It also helped us to reduce man
hours and number of people required to handle the process,thus reducing the repair costs
significantly. Completed the project in 6 months where it was originally estimated for a year.
