Warm-up 5´:
Purpose: to introduce the topic and teaching points.
Now I ´ll use a puppet called “Moky” to catch students’ attention. “Hello,
I´m Moky”. “One, two, and three! Oh they are numbers!!!
Now, look! These are the numbers! (Pointing to cards that will be stuck
on the board) The puppet will participate during this activity.
The cards will be in the classroom, so they can look at them as many
times as they want.

Development
ACTIVITY 1 - 15’
Purpose: this activity is aimed at fostering contextualized practice
of the teaching points.
I will put two boxes in front of the class; each box will have a piece of
paper with a color (red and blue).
There will be another box with balls in the middle of the classroom.
Students will be one behind the other. Each student will participate.
They will use a dice and the number they will get is the number of balls
they have to put in the boxes in the color I will say.
I will say “Let´s play!” “Roll the dice Alma, oh number 2, so 2 balls in the
red box” and they will put the ball in the red box. I will show them the
4. activity using my body language because their teacher always explains
the tasks in Spanish.
With this activity students revise the colors since they have to listen to
the teacher and put the ball in the correct box. Students will receive the
necessary support and guidance in the case they don´t remember the
vocabulary. I will use my body language and gestures to help them all
the time. Moreover, they have the visual support of the poster on the
wall.
Transition: “Oh excellent! Very well done!
ACTIVITY 2: 20’
Purpose: this activity is aimed at recognizing contextualized
practice of the numbers.
Each student will have a copy with a worksheet about numbers 1-6. In
order to identify them, they will count and match with the correct dice
since they will be playing with one in the previous game. All the copies
will have an example to guide them to follow the activity.
“Let´s match”. I will say while doing the mimic of the line.
Once they complete the activity, I will check each paper. After that, I will
invite them to paint using three colors. “Let´s paint the dices” while
pointing them in the paper. “Listen, number 1 red, number 2 blue,
number 3 yellow, number 4 red, number 5 blue, number 6 yellow.” I
will wait some time while they paint. I will guide them and they will
receive all the necessary support to complete the activity.
Transition: Very well done kids! Great job!
Closure 5´: “Well my dear
students/children, it´s time to go home. Let
´s sing the song to say goodbye”. Students
are invited to sing the goodbye song after
tidying their bags and chairs.

· Teaching approach: I´ll use the PPP method.
· Integration of skills: The lesson will integrate listening and
speaking skills through songs and commands
· Materials and resources: Cards with the NUMBERS on the wall to
have a visual support, a puppet, a video song, hoops.
· Pedagogical use of ICT in class or at home: In this lesson, a poster
will be used to support the presentation and exposure of the
students to the teaching point. Activities are organized through

· Seating arrangement: Students will be sitting on the floor during
7. the presentation and practice stage. During the game, they´ll be
standing in a row.
· Assessment: what will be assessed and how: I will check that
students comprehend and identify the different numbers by
watching them pointing, playing and moving to the correct
number. I will provide them with the necessary input and I will
encourage them to produce the chunks of language I am teaching.
Routine 5´
I´ll get into the classroom and greet students: “Hello! How are you
today?” EA: “Hello!”
I´ll ask students to sit in a circle on the floor and we´ll sing the usual
welcome song.
Now it´s time to say Hello! Say hello! Say hello!
Now it´s time to say hello! Hello, everyone (x2)
“Moky” wants to revise the numbers, Let´s help themhim”
“One, two, three…”
I´ll invite children to point their fingers and count with me.
Transition: Well done kids!
Warm-up 5´:
“Look! “Moky says the numbers. Come on Moky repeat, one, two, three,
four, five, six, seven, eight, nine, TEN!!! TEN numbers!” While the puppet
is pointing to the numbers on the wall.
Transition: Very good!
Presentation 5´:
I´ll put hoops on the floor and say: “What is it, Puppet? This is a game!
This is “la rayuela” game!”
8. “Look at me, jump on one, jump on two, jump on three…” I´ll show them
the game adding the new word “jump”. I will show them the complete
game, from 1 to 10 in order to repeat the numbers and add the new
ones.
Development:
Activity 1 - 20´:
Students play individually in order to have the same possibility to
participate. I´ll arrange the hoops on the floor. I´ll call out “jump on
one”. And so on. The students are not allowed to have any part of their
bodies touching the floor, only their feet. If they fall over, they are out.
The student that comes to the end following the instructions wins.
This game works with all the numbers they learnt and at the same time
includes the new ones and the instruction “jump”.
We have to encourage those shy kids to participate. If someone is
wrong with a number or an instruction we can make a gesture to help
him/her.
Transition: “Great job kids” How funny! Ok, now let´s make a circle on
the floor!
They will be probably exhausted, so they´ll have a minute to calm down
their anxiety and recover their breathing.
Activity 2, 10´:
9. Students will watch a video and sing a song “Number song for children”
counting from 1 to 10. This activity will help to continue the teaching
point and it is useful to close the lesson since they will be sitting on the
floor before going home.
“Let´s watch a video and sing. Ready?” Yes!!!
After watching the video, we will repeat the numbers using the cards on
the walls. First they will say them in order, then I will point to a card
and they will say what I will be pointing.

Closure 5´:
I´ll invite students to tidy their school objects and sing the “goodbye
song” “Well my dear students, it´s time to go home. Let´s tidy our bag”
Great job, now Let´s sing the goodbye song”.
Now it´s time to say goodbye! Say goodbye! Say goodbye!
Now it´s time to say goodbye! Goodbye, everyone (x2)
