(Introduction)
 The oldest and democratic political party of Pakistan is Pakistan Peoples Party, founded
by Zulfikar Ali Bhutto in 1967,30 November at Lahore, and he was Head of party.
 The party that brought light to the educational sector of Pakistan by their tremendous
educational achievements.
 The party that had the most educated woman of Pakistan as its prime minister, who
emphasized upon women education the most as in the early years women education
wasn’t acknowledged by the extremists.
 The party enlightened the Awaam with its best educational reforms, programs and
achievements.
 The main purpose was to educate the people of Pakistan in order for them to serve
Pakistan with their intellectual capability.

 Pakistan did not have enough recognition for the educational systems.
 There weren’t enough universities and student unions for the people of Pakistan to get
aware about the power of education.
 The potential that the people of Pakistan had was untapped as the Pakistan lacked of
educational platforms that were introduced by Mr. Zulfikar Ali Bhutto.
 Mr. Zulfikar Ali Bhutto’s educational work was heartfelt as he believed in the people of
Pakistan and saw the future progressing with providing them the chance to get admitted
in the best universities that he inaugurated.
 All the respective leaders that came into power after the partition, all were unable to
provide the sense of educational importance.

 Pakistan Peoples Party has always projected a keen interest to reform the education

 Zulfiqar Ali Bhutto showed his interest when he made education compulsory and free
for all children till Grade 10.

Science and Technology (SZABIST)
Shaheed Zulfiqar Ali Bhutto Institute of Science and Technology is a degree granting
institution which was established through a Legislative Act of the Sindh Assembly and is
approved and recognized by the Higher Education Commission (HEC). With branches all
across the major cities of Pakistan, SZABIST is also recognized internationally by various
associations and institutions. The university was founded by Shaheed Mohtarma Benazir
Bhutto in 1995. All the financial and research funding is made by Pakistan People’s Party.
SZABIST is regarded as one of the more notable private research institutions of higher
learning in Pakistan and ranked among the nation's top-ten institutions by the HEC, as of
2013.

This library was established in 1984 as a result of efforts made by (Late) Mohammad
Hashim Memon, Deputy Commissioner Larkana. The first phase of library was established
in 1976 and 2nd phase in 1993. The library possesses very pleasing facilities which are
available to all. It is centrally air conditioned; about 600 students visit this library daily. Out
of them about 5 readers qualify CSS examinations yearly and sufficient students qualify
other competitive examinations. It houses a Reference Hall, Auditorium, and Children
Section, C.S.S Section, P.C.S Section, Ladies Section, Newspaper & Periodical Section and
Entry Test section.

SMBBMU was introduced and inaugurated on July 9, 2009. It is a public university which
provides quality med education it’s located in Larkana and also in Karachi, other branches
of the institute are in making; they offer courses for medicine, Nursing Health and medical
sciences. The university was named in honor of Shaheed Mohtarma Benazir Bhutto;
brilliant, elegant and most educated herself hence two time Prime Minister of Pakistan, who
had passed away two years before the university’s development.

11. BAKHTAWAR CADET COLLEGE FOR
GIRLS (Nawab Shah)
Benazir’s daughter Bakhtawar has recently managed to inaugurate Pakistan’s first Female
Cadet College. The development of such projects empowers the position of women in the
society even further and it also creates life changing opportunities for women who chose to
opt for such institutions. Sindh government had to allocate a budget of Rs 450 million for
the development of this project.
