 Awami National Party is a
leading political party of
Khyber Pakhtunkhwa and
FATA.
 It formed government during
2008-2013 and completed
numerous public welfare
projects.
 ANP is known for sacrifices
and education revolution in
the province.
 Bacha Khan philosophy of
peaceful living is guideline.

 ANP developed election
manifesto for 2013-18.
 It offered tickets to candidates
on merit and loyalty to party
basis.
 It ran comprehensive
promotional campaign during
21 days electoral campaign.
 It became prime target of
terrorists during electoral
campaign. Highest candidates
and workers of ANP were killed
during the general elections
2013.

Advertisements of “8 Universities in
5 Years”, “Land offer to Shaukat
Khanum Memorial Hospital” and
“Cold Shoulder to Swat Operations
Affectees by PML-N” were very
effective. Advertisements show that
ANP is mainstream moderated
political party believes in tolerance,
peace and progress.
It was a blunder not to use photo of
Begum Nasim Wali Khan in
advertisements. ANP could not
communicate with women of Khyber
Pakhtunkhwa and FATA.

5. FFaaiilluurree CCaauusseess iinn EElleeccttiioonnss
 Some ANP members were not given
party tickets. For example Imran Khan
Mohmand contested independently.
 Due to bomb blasts at processions, ANP
could not organize public meetings
throughout the province and FATA.
 Candidates’ electoral budgets were not
centralized for cost effective promotion
and advertising.
 Amn TV and Social Media were not
properly utilized to get greater mileage.
 ANP could not repeat its strategic or core
advertisements.
 ANP could not properly communicate
with women folk. It must have
conducted door to door canvassing
campaign.

6. WWaayy FFoorrwwaarrdd ffoorr AANNPP
 ANP members should remain
united under leadership of
Naseem Wali Khan. Propaganda
campaign against Bilore Family
must be stopped.
 ANP must expand its influence in
Punjab and Sindh where Pakhtun
people are concentrated.
 ANP must keep constant cordial
relations with media, columnists
and public throughout the year.
 ANP should highlight its
achievements during 2013-2018.
 ANP must update its web TV,
website and social media pages.
 ANP must hire services of pro-ANP
advertising and PR firm.

7. PPrree--BBuuddggeett CCoonnffeerreennccee
Fiscal budget 2013-2014 is at hand
and ANP must arrange pre-budget
conference. Media must be invited
for better coverage.

8. AAnnnnuuaall EEdduuccaattiioonn CCoonnffeerreennccee
ANP must apply for Guinness World
Record for establishing 8 universities in 5
years. ANP must arrange this conference
in May 2014 for information of general
public.

Members of ANP sacrificed their
lives for people of Khyber
Pakhtunkhwa. It must arrange
peace convention at death
ceremony of Haji Ghulam Ahmad
Bilore.

2014. It is a democratic
practice and will inform
general public and media.

Pakhtun are working and living
in Karachi and Hyderabad. ANP
must conduct survey about
Pakhtun-concentrated cities in
Sindh and train candidates for
next elections 2018.

ANP must build cordial relations
with leading newspapers and
TV channels in next five years. It
must know who is pro-ANP in
national media. This media
relations would help winning
local elections and general
elections 2018.
