2. Argumentative essay is a kind of academic writing in which writer
tries to persuade the reader that his/her opinion or point of view
is the most correct because has more valid arguments. In this
type of writing, the writer uses lots of resources and elements
that can be persuasive. Also, this essay is more extensive
because it requires a research and analysis of different
information sources.

3. COMPONENTS
Introduction
•A brief description of what the essay is going to develop.
•It must have a strong thesis statement that allows the reader to
keep the interest about the essay.
Body
paragraphs
•Paragraphs with topic sentences that support the author’s opinion
or arguments.
•At least a paragraph with clear examples that support the
arguments.
Conclusion
•A brief paragraph in which the author try to conclude something
of the arguments.
•It can include a brief summary of the previous arguments.

be create. Writing is a sense, like painting a picture.

When doing research for an essay the students has the potential
to become an expert on his or her topic.
• Persuasive essay writing provides an excellent opportunity for
healthy debate. The author and reader can then both defend their
positions in the friendly art of debate.
• Essay writing is a very enjoyable experience. Writing can be an
extremely creative experience in that the writer is literally painting
a picture with words. Composing essays allows one to share ideas
with others.
