For the Toxic magazine, they use bright contrasting colours to draw the attention of
their audience, who are young children. This is also backed up by the fact that they
use large text but not a lot of words to grab the attention. They also put
mainstream things that children like such as “Fortnite” on the the front of the
magazine. Audience is male, 4-12.
5. Existing Product
Money magazine uses bland colours to show the seriousness behind the articles
within the magazine. Neutral colours are used but this would not let the
magazine attract younger audiences compared to how it would attract older
audiences. The topic of “money” (the title of the magazine) will attract a more
mature audience.
7. Existing Product
Empire magazine has a main focus of the main character of the latest
blockbuster film, this will draw the attention of anyone who likes the film or is
interested by the film. This is the audience of this magazine. The magazine’s
focus is on blockbuster films and T.V. shows that are out or up and coming. The
format for the pages have lots of images from the films or T.V. Shows to intrigue
the audience.
