  3. 3. WHAT IS ENTERTAINMENT IN EDUCATION? ‘edutainment’ - the presentation of informative or educational material in an entertaining style
  4. 4. TIPS: 1. Pictures and animation To attract the students to give full attention. Example: long paragraphing will makes the students feel bored and sleepy.
  5. 5. 2. VIDEO To make the student more understand and students will also learn to imagine about the topics that they learn. Example topic: reproduction of human being.
  6. 6. 3. MIND MAPPING AND DIAGRAM To help the students easy to remember about certain topics. The more colourful the diagram, the more easier for the student to remember it. Example subject: chemistry and physics.
  7. 7. CHEMISTRY PHYSICS
  8. 8. 4. SKETCHING •sketch pictures that go along with your notes or in the margins of your textbooks •draw a picture on a flashcard for each concept or vocabulary word you study •use charts and graphic organizers to keep track of what you learn
  9. 9. 5. CREATE MANY ACTIVITIES Example: study visit • See the world and broaden your experience ~ it can help the student feel more enjoy and happy to study. ~ it also can help student to learn and think out of the box.

  11. 11. 6. ORGANIZE COMPETITIONS • student will learn to apply what they have learn in class. Example: rocket competition

  13. 13. 7. ENOUGH EQUIPMENT Example: doing experiment • sometimes student feel confused about the apparatus that they need to use in the experiment. So, the lectures should provide enough apparatus for the student so that they will know each of the apparatus that they have to use.
  14. 14. 8. USE OF TECHNOLOGY • Students still can connect with teachers outside of class through discussion forums, email, online chat and so on. ~ Lecture notes or class-related information can also be shared through the web in which all students can access it at a time.
  15. 15. 9. learning outside the classroom • it can expose the student to learn about the nature and the real world. ( more fun ) For example: for environment students, learning outside the class are crucial because it can help the student understand better about the environment.
