• Total Annual Hours Worked (not just in pay period used for snapshot)
• Default Exempt Full Time => 40 (unless your workweek is less) for
each week worked
• Default Exempt Part Time => 20 (unless your workweek is less) for
each week worked
• Non-Exempt – Total FLSA Work Hours
• No vacation, sick, holiday, PTO etc.

•Employers Publishers have time to prepare.
•No EEO-1 reports will be filed in 2017.
•The filing deadline will be March 31st moving forward.
•The “Workplace snapshot” period will change.
•Report income provided in Box 1 of W-2 and FLSA
hours worked.
•Electronic forms will be preferred.

• Understand how your data will look under the new EEO-1 categories
• Decide how exempt employee hours will be reported
• Review and confirm job classifications with respect to EEO
• Confirm employee classifications don’t over report employee
numbers
• Determine the source of wage and hour data
• Work with your Net@Work consultant to be sure you have all
necessary data and to develop custom reports if necessary.
