• Or employees receive two weeks of paid sick leave at 2/3 their regular rate of pay (up to $200/day) if
caring for someone under certain conditions
• The Family and Medical Leave Expansion Act
• Qualifying workers receive up to an additional 10 weeks of extended family leave at 2/3 their rate
(up to $200/day) if the employee is caring for children whose school or care facility are closed
• Refundable tax credits for employers
• Employers can claim a refundable payroll tax credit for the cost of providing leave under these
programs
