interested in using computers, which are the most influential tool in my life.

Work Experience
Receptionist, Time2Tan, Collier Row
(14/09/09 to 25/09/09)
This position has allowed me to develop my communication skills. I have worked here for my work experience
placement as a school project. I worked as an assistant employee on the shop floor, where I had to help
customers to find the right product for them. As an assistant, I helped organise and file customer files, which
helped me improve my accuracy of administration work. I also answered and transferred customer calls to the
correct staff member, which increased the level of my confidence in the work place and communicating with
others.
Customer Service Sales Assistant, Dunelm Mill, Romford
(28/06/2010- 09/06/2012)
I have worked on the tills, in a busy environment, under pressure most of the time. Good communication and
organisational skills were required in this job position. I have worked three stock take evenings and also was
offered a customer service role in November 2011. This role consisted of refunds, exchanges, online orders and
answering the telephone.
I received a Promotion to “Service Champion” in January 2012. This Promotion required organisational skills,
planning staff breaks, overtime and responsibilities. The role meant that I gained a higher position in my job
role, gaining more authorisation. It also allowed me experience in cash handling as I was able to assist in the
cash office.
Public Relations Work Experience- Blue Rubicon
One Week in May 2012
The role required me to gather facts and data to keep track of public concerns and current trends affecting
consumers, creating promotional events to gain awareness and support of a specific product or client,
2. and collecting data for press releases.
Senior Sales Advisor, House of Fraser, London
(18/06/2012-30/04/2013)
I worked full time for House of Fraser on the women’s clothing department. I have been given the responsibility
to be in charge of my own department whilst the manager is on maternity leave. The job role includes counting
stock, merchandising and selling link sales or MasterCard’s to customers. It is extremely important to be friendly
to customers in the environment and to be available to help at all times, knowing every aspect of each product
that we sell. I am also in charge of setting targets to reach for the days and giving the other members of staff on
my department tasks to do for the day.
Trainee Lettings Negotiator, haart Lettings, Walthamstow , East London
(2/5/2013- 2/2/2014)
I worked full time as a trainee lettings negotiator for one of the largest UK independent estate agents. I decided
on a career which allowed me to enhance my skills. I had to sit and pass plenty of exams and be examined by a
trainer on my customer service skills by doing role plays. This job role taught me how to deal with every type of
customer in the correct manner. It also enhanced my telephone and organisational skills. Timekeeping was
essential in the role as you had to stick to a strict diary and meet people at properties on time, taking traffic into
consideration. There was also admin involved in the job to ensure that every tenant moved in smoothly with the
correct paperwork. Gaining raving fans was a key point in the job, making sure every single tenant and landlord
was satisfied.
Lettings Negotiator, haart Lettings, Romford
(2/2/2014 – 31/3/2015)
I am currently working in a branch nearer to home. This move was certainly better for me as I knew the local
area extremely well. The role in my career suddenly changed to having to deal more closely to the Client (the
landlords). I began training on valuing properties and dealing with landlords rather than tenants. I built special
relationships with them leading to them only wanting to talk to me when they called the office. I learnt how to
take professional photos of properties and putting them on the market with my own marketing descriptions.
Senior Lettings Negotiator, haart Lettings, Romford
(1/4/2015-Present)
This role in my job has entitled me to use the computer database in a lot more depth and acting as manager
when my manager was away. I would set daily tasks for the team to complete and ensure we met our targets for
the week. The job requires you to act professional at all times, acting knowledgeable and looking immaculate in
order to gain a landlords business. I am also currently on an Assistant manager course working towards my next
promotion.
