Today, I met a person who gives his contribution for
the growth of children and also youngsters through sports
Dikshitbhai Purohit.
He is the trusty and in charge of the management of the
public sector of Bhavnagar for TABLE-TENIS .
I will like to present some of the questions that I asked him
during interview.
Here are the questions and their answers those I got from
him.
1. How many years of experience?
I m in this field form 44 years since I was of 16.
2.Since you are successful..sir, how do you take your work?
From one perspective I take this as my vision and also as a
mission.

3. According to you what are the qualities to become a
successful employ or person?
As long as I believe, first one should have trust in
himself.
One should have faith and courage to face any challenges.
He should be a good listener not only a speaker.
This are enough to become successful.
4. During your long successful carrier, you might have faced
some challenges, how do you take them it? As
opportunities or as a hurdle?
It might happened that sometimes I got depressed when
the conditions were worst and against of me but even
though I didn’t give up and struggle for my mission, my
aim.

5. According to you what is job satisfaction?
In today’s world to live, to survive one needs both internal
satisfaction and external satisfaction. But for me I have got
external satisfaction already, I always wanted an internal
satisfaction by providing facilities for the players which I
didn’t get when I wanted it.
6. Do you believe in reward or opportunity? Domain vision or
purpose vision?
As I believe, one reward is just an show off. Main thing is to
get internal pleasure by fulfilling one’s purpose.
7. Sir..sometimes you might have faced your juniors not working
according to your expectations. How do you make them
work?

First, I try to advice them in my way. I try to explain their
parents also. As long as I know my all junior are good. I have
no big complains about them.
8. How you convince your senior when they are not supporting
as per your expectation?
I request them as possible as. But when the matter is of my
right, I take actions against them also.
9. What is your contribution to this field?
I try to helpful to the players, gives coaching them and give
money also when they have not.
10. An example of “you can do it” attitude?
Yes, of course. When I had started playing table tennis,
there was no one in Bhavnagar to learn or to give coaching.

When I went to play alone in a dilapidated building, the
young boys came and torn my net on the table. Till 1 week
they did this but I dint give up and took a new net making it
from torn cloths at my home. After one week, they gave up in
torching me.
11. What is your short term vision and what is your long term
vision?
It is simple. There is no short term and long term vision. My
only vision is to make more and more children and
youngsters to play table tennis,do progress and be a proud of
India.
12. Any suggestion for youth?
Yes. Today all the youngsters specially the students are
focusing only on study, earning money.

Physical health is of no importance, discipline is of no
importance,Behaviour with elders is of no importance.Main
education is this. Study this a little part of this education.
Don’t do focus only on that.
13. Any life experience that makes you feel successful?
Actually, internal satisfaction is of most important. Until you
got it,you can’t feel successful. I am happy and satisfied with
my work.When I see the children playing table-tennis I fill
successful, as what I dint get I am providing them.
