1. Firstly I started with the template I created
and added some more text by using the text
tool
2. I added some key features for a
magazine cover like the price and
masthead.
3. And also the time of year this specific
magazine will be released.
4. I created a rectangle box and placed the
barcode in and re sized it for the fit I
wanted
5. I was constantly moving things around on the front
cover to see where things looked best.
6. I moved my images into Photoshop to
remove the backgrounds.
7. I used the object selection tool and the
quick select tool to draw around the
model.
8. Once I selected what I wanted I right clicked
and pressed select inverse this the will
remove the background instead of the
model.
9. Then once I pressed enter this is what it looks
like and I needed to save this image as a PNG
and Photoshop file so I could place it into in
design.
10. Then I added this to my front cover on InDesign
and resized it to fit how I vision.
12. I then added some more cover lines that included
information that linked to the double page spread.
13. I continued to play around with colours and spacing of the text and
images. I also decided to add a colour this was just a light grey to fill the
space instead of it looking so empty.
14. I included cover lines about other artists to
engage the audience.
