This document describes a design for a flatness measuring construction tool. The tool is meant to help construction workers easily measure irregularities on wall and floor surfaces. It includes two devices - a circular device for measuring horizontal flatness and a cylindrical device for vertical surfaces. Both devices use a bubble level filled with fluid to indicate if the surface is perfectly flat based on where the air bubble sits. The design is meant to be simple, requiring no power source or complex calibration. It aims to help unskilled workers easily achieve smooth, flat surfaces.

Objective :-
The objective of our design tool is to ease the job of
construction worker . Since, when a worker plasters
a wall there are a lot of irregularities ( up’s & down’s
) even on the finished surface. So to make a
perfectly finished surface the worker should be
aware of the irregularities. Our designed tool helps
him out to know where the irregularities lie’s on the
surface.
Applicability :-
It can be used on constructional site’s.
It can be used where a perfectly flat & smooth floor
is needed .
It can be used to check the flatness & roughness of
a wall.

It is a tough task to maintain the flatness of the wall
by a unskilled person or even by skilled person. we
have a vision to design a tool which can indicate
the roughness of a wall.
But our objective is to design a simple device,
which
Do not need any power source and complicated
callibration.
So we achieved our goal by adding a device
Which is filled with fluid and has air bubble
Inside, when bubble is at centre then the
surface is perfectly flat .

This is a tube filled with water having an air bubble. if
there Is any angle between plate & wall surface then
bubble will deviate from the centre.
This means the surface is not flat so we have to
remove the extra material to achieve the flat surface.

By two independent members, one is handle made
Up of wood and second is an aluminium alloy plate
having bolt which Is seamlessly attached with bolt so
when ever there is Chance of replacing the handle we
can easily remove it by nut bolt assembly.
