SMAC
SOCIAL networks pave way for
the rapid creation, sharing of
knowledge which allows
collaboration and information
distribution across a business.
MOBILE technologies have changed
the way people communicate, shop
and work. The growth in smart devices
is bringing about an era of ubiquitous
connectivity. Users are now able to
access information anywhere at any
time with ease.
ANALYTICS allow businesses to
understand how, when and where
people consume certain goods
and services. The immersive data
processing power of Big Data
analytics allows companies to
unprecedented insight in their
businesses .
CLOUD is the indispensible part of the
SMAC stack. It provides a new way to
access technology and the data a
business needs to quickly respond to
changing markets and solve business
problems.
• SMAC technologies are the new game changers in enterprise IT. When
implemented, these technologies serve as a great solution for business
organizations
• Businesses are becoming more and more agile, and technologies such as
social media, mobility, analytics and cloud computing are coming together
to unleash unlimited opportunities for everyone involved.
• The integration of social, mobile, analytics and cloud requires clear policies
and guidelines as well as management tools that can automate business
processes.
• When the integration is done it serves as an indispensible tool for
businesses
Trends
• SMAC estimated to be between $70 billion and $200
billion over the next three years.
• By 2015, most apps will sync, collect and analyze data
about users and their social graphs.
• Americans spend an average of 3.2 hours per day on
social media, often from their mobile devices.
• Analytics will reach 50% of potential users by 2014 and
75% by 2020.
• Cloud Computing is projected to reach more than $191
billion in 2020.
My Interests
• My interest lie in the data analytics and cloud
domain.
• My vision is to create an amenable platform to
perform exhaustive analysis of data in the cloud
which yields quick results and can be immediately
applied to business process.
• Creating a seamless connection between the cloud
and data analytics is another agenda .
• Making data analytics faster and result oriented
(pertinent to specific problem)
Thank You !
