Introduction
• SMAC is Social (everything so simple and networked), Mobile
(available anywhere), Analytics (predicting future), and Cloud (at
a fraction of price).
 Social media gives a better way of connectivity, sharing and
collaboration among the people.
 Mobile devices have changed the living way of people. Today,
with mobile devices, one can gain access to mobile banking,
reservations, shopping and much more.
 Analytics is where data is analyzed, and managed to drive
businesses through the way of big data, business intelligence and
analysis of multi-structure high volume datasets
 Cloud - buzzword in the today’s evolving technology world is
increasingly gaining traction among enterprises for its known
benefits – cost effectiveness, agility, and less capital intensive.
• Today, there are over 1 billion social media subscribers globally.
Facebook, Twitter and Linkedin are among the most popular
social media firms
• There are over 4.5 billion mobile subscribers globally. Shoppers
are increasingly using their mobile devices for everything from
browsing to comparing, to buying products.
• Every year, companies and individuals generate billions of
gigabytes of data across industries like financial services, retail
etc.
• Cloud has the potential to foster innovations and improve
productivity across industries. Everything from enterprise
