the province of Cadiz, identifying potential opportunities for built and new build prospects
• Developed the commercial contracting propositions leading to the completion of 10 FPSO’s
and New Generation Drill ships, Accommodation and Semi-submersibles in Europe, including:-
o 3 New Build Drill ships for Transocean Corp, 1 FPSO conversion and 2 New Build FPSO’s
for Texaco and Total, this one destined for offshore Libya
o Sites included Astano Shipyard in Spain, Lisnave Shipyard in Portugal, Cammel Laird in
UK, Keppel Fells Shipyard in Singapore, Dubai Dry Dock in UAE
• Remained on site and utilised Prince2 Stakeholder engagement principles to manage project
• Led a team of 200 on the £20m commissioning of all topside / ships systems of the Russian
Submarine Tender Vessel ‘Anadyr’ to the Foinavon FPSO at Astano shipyard
• Due to expertise and reputation gained a considerable new project management pipeline
• Managed the £27m conversion of a sub drilling rig for Petrobas based in Portugal
• Led £40m conversion of 2 Drill Ships for Reading & Bates and led entry into Singapore Market
• Developed the global strategy to support a £15m revenue business with operating bases and
project activities in Dubai, Libya, Mexico, Singapore and South Africa

• Negotiated the recovery of £2m ‘lost revenue’ in a highly hostile environment in Libya
• Led the successful buyout of Swift Servicios Tecnicos creating a £15m global operation
