1. THPAL Slaked Lime Mixing Tank Project : Surigao del Norte, Philippines (June 2014 to
October 2014)
JGC Philippines completed the THPAL Slaked Lime Mixing Tank Project at Taganito HPAL
Plant in Barangay Taganito, Claver, Surigao del Norte. The Certificate of Mechanical
Completion was signed and issued on March 10, 2015.
The project scope was for the Engineering, Procurement and Construction (EPC) of an
additional facility. The project involved the supply and installation of a tank with agitator,
transfer pumps, housing structure, dust filter, and all the associated instruments and
electrical components.
2. C3/C4 STORAGE PROJECT : Simlong, Batangas City, Philippines (April 2013 to August 2015)
This project is JGC Philippines’ (JPhil’s) first Engineering Procurement and Construction
Management (EPCM) venture in petrochemicals. It entailed the design and construction of
four spherical storage tanks, among the biggest in Asia.
Scope of work included two major areas namely, the Storage Tank area which was
completed on June 15, 2015 and the Boil Off Gas (BOG) Compression System area which was
completed on August 31, 2015.
3. AMINE OXIDE (PEROXIDATION) PROCESS PROJECT: San Pascual, Batangas (August 2014 to
March 2015)
JGC Philippines completed the Amine Oxide Peroxidation Process (AOPP) Project for
Stepan Philippines, Inc. (SPI) and achieved Mechanical Completion on April 21, 2015.
The project was designed to provide SPI with additional metric tons of Amine Oxide.
4. USGC ETHYLENE Project : Cedar Bayou Plant, Baytown, Texas, USA ( November 2014 to June
2016)
The Engineering, Procurement, and Construction (EPC) contract for U.S. Gulf Coast (USGC)
Ethylene Project was awarded to the joint venture of JGC Corporation and Fluor Corporation
by Chevron Phillips Chemical Company LP. JGC have the leading role for the engineering and
procurement of the process units.

1. Checked and ensured compliance of piping works to the contract documents, client and
government standards and regulations, and other relevant industrial codes
2. Prepared material specification for piping system and performed engineering calculations for
design pressure, temperature, and other verification requirements of the project
3. Prepared material estimates and take-offs for BoQ used for final material ordering
4. Prepared detailed pricing estimate for material ordering, and subcontractor/vendor ordering
5. Reviewed and responded to the subcontractor/vendor technical clarifications during the
procurement stage. Also prepared technical recommendation in the selection of the most
technically competent and competitive subcontractor/vendor
6. Developed material specification register using WINMTO/PMS/MACS database and created
output database for BM/BQ of the project
7. Coordinated with piping design, process, and procurement on technical matters related to
the project handled
8. Developed and created computer application/programs in the course of employment which
were necessary and practicable under the circumstances to streamline, simplify or, speed-up
the operation of the department
9. Followed compliance on requirements of job related to the specifications stipulated in the
EMS, QMS and ISMS standards and regulations.
