I. OBJECTIVES
Objectives must be met over the week and connected to the curriculum standards. To meet the objectives, necessary procedures must be followed and if needed additional lessons, exercises and remedial activities may be done for developing content knowledge and competencies. These are assessed using
Formative Assessment strategies. Valuing objectives support the learning of content and competencies and enable children to find significance and joy in learning the lessons. Weekly objectives shall be derived from the curriculum guides.

IV. PROCEDURES
These steps should be done across the week. Spread out the activities appropriately so that students will learn well. Always be guided by demonstration of learning by the students which you can infer from formative assessment activities. Sustain learning systematically by providing students with multiple ways
to learn new things, practice their learning, question their learning process and draw conclusions about what they learned in relation to their life experiences and previous knowledge. Indicate the time allotment for each step.
A. Reviewing previous lesson or
presenting the new lesson
The learners will be grouped into four and will be tasked to
unscramble the word to be given by the teacher. Three rambled
words will be given and learners will have to unscramble each word
for one (1) minute. After arranging the letters the group leader or
representative will go in front to write their answers on the board. 1
point will be given to the group who will be able to give the correct
answer. The group with the highest score will be declared the
winner.

The teacher shall show the learners different pictures downloaded
from the internet that depict the different culture of people around
the world. The teacher selects a student to give his/her insight about
the picture.
B. Establishing a purpose for the
lesson
Sharing of Social and Cultural Backgrounds
Learners will be grouped into four (4). Each group will be given ten
(10) minutes to discuss their observations about their social and
cultural backgrounds which include gender, socio-economic class,
ethnicity, religion, nationality and politics. They shall be guided by
the following questions.
a) What influences gender, socio-economic class, ethnicity,
religion and nationality of a person? politics?
b) How do people act according to the given subjects?
Role Playing
Learners will be grouped into four (4). Each group will be given ten
(10) minutes to discuss their strategies on doing a role play. They shall
demonstrate curiosity and openness on the different dynamics of
culture and society and political identities. They shall be guided by the
following guiding questions:
a. What are the different culture of the Filipino people?
in the society and in terms of politics?
b. How do people differ in a society?
C. Presenting examples/ instances
of the new lesson
After the discussion, the leader of the group will discuss in front
what they have discussed. Each leader will be given 2 minutes to
present the group’s collective ideas.
A group presenter will explain the presentation of each group. Two (2)
minutes will be allotted for each presentation.
