Financial Advisor/Branch Manager at Self- Owned Business(Jan 2009- Dec 2014)
Took over one of the Branches of Karvy Stock Broking Ltd with client base of over 800
clients at Subhanpura. It’s a franchise model and we cater to all the financial needs of
these 800 client at this branch . This branch we are operating since January 2009 with
average turnover of around INR 12 Lakhs over last three years and came in effective
from 1st
April 2009.

• Joined as Territory Manager for Anand/Nadiad and adjoining areas.
• Key role is to develop business in broking and start-up business in areas of
mutual fund and insurance.

• Reporting to regional head of the region.
Organization:Karvy Stock Broking Limited(Joined on 15 th Jan 2005- April 15
2008)
• Joined in as investment advisor for various investment products like equities,
derivatives, insurance and mutual fund.
• On the basis of education and experience designated as Branch Incharge for
Subhanpura,Baroda
• Job includes handling all issues related to branch both in terms of back office
and sales.
• Adherence to various audit related processes.
• Cross selling various Karvy products to investors.
Simply put in a nutshell, I have got opportunity to work with one of the leader in
distribution of financial products. And working with Karvy I got an opportunity to
know the detail functioning of Indian Capital Market be it be primary market or
secondary market. In fact I am well versed with back office of DP. I have
developed very good consultancy skills in dealing with clients.

• Joined as financial advisor in Van Gogh Preferred Banking department.
• Was Involved in selling current accounts to High Net worth Clients and cross
selling various other products of bank.
To summarize was responsible to bring HNI clients and service them till they are
well recognized with functioning of bank. It gave me skills needed for direct sales
and how to organize and plan in order to achieve targets.

• Joined as Junior Probationary officer in personal loans department.
• Was to bring in sales for the bank by coordinating with direct sales team.

The project was to know various channels involved in selling Insurance product also
know how the Insurance industry works. Also came to know the functioning of Icici
Prudential as leader in private sector and how they sold there products through sales
generated through there banking tie ups with Icici Bank, Allahabad Bank and Bank of
India to name.
Additional Information:
 Currently persuing CFA LEVEL-1, exam scheduled for June
2015.
 NCFM cleared in Dealers Core Module with 70% and
Derivative module with 80%.
 Best sportsman adjudged during my MBA in Icfai Business
School, Ahmedabad.
 Best sportsman adjudged in School.
 I was School Prefect (Captain).
