2. 1. Measure about 3” from
the top portion of the
pattern paper, then draw
a horizontal line in this
area.
3. 2. Draw a vertical line
at the center of your
pattern paper. Mark
the right vertex of
your line as point A.
4. 3. From point A, locate
and measure the outside
length of your pajama,
then mark this as point B.
5. 4. A to C is the crotch
measurement.
Square out to the
right.
6. 5. C to D is 1/4 of
the hipline plus 1”.
Square up to locate
point E.
7. 6. From point D,
measure 2” upward
and locate your
point F.
8. 7. From point D , measure
2” to the right and mark it
as point G. Using a French
curve, shape the crotch
from G to F.
9. 8. B to H is ½ leg
circumference.
Connect G to H for
the inner length.
10. 9. From point C, transfer
point D to the left portion of
the pattern adding 1”
allowance and mark it as
point 1.
11. 10. From point 1, square up
and mark it as point 2.
11. From Point 1, measure
3” upward then mark it as
point 3.
12. 12. From point 1, measure 3”
to the left and mark it as
point 4. Shape the back
crotch by connecting points 3
and 4 with a French curve.
13. 13. Transfer line B to H
to the left adding 3”
allowance and mark it as
point 5. Connect points 4
and 5 for the inner length .
14. The right portion represented by
letters is the front pattern and the
left portion represented by numbers is
the back pattern of the pajama, it is
obviously wider to give room and
allowance to the buttocks area.
