ANNOTATION
Iinsert ILMP.
There are times that some students came to a
point in time where they became ill-being in their
studies because of so many reasons. In order to
reach out these students, I visited them and talked
to them of what’s going on and the reasons of
their absences or by not getting their modules per
week. Through this, I learned and understand
their situation and I made sure to convinced
them to continue their modular learning despite
of the situation. As a result, they regularly get
their modules and passed their output and
answers to their respective subject areas.

teaching and learning process

Making lesson plans, arranging
the weekly home learning plan and
completing the teacher’s weekly
plan do help teachers to prepare for
the task to be accomplished by the
learners. These forms have helped
teachers in arranging which
competency to teach first and how
to carry out the teaching – learning
process in a smooth flow especially
at this very time of pandemic where
it has been challenging to both the
teachers and the students.

Using and integrating ICT in our teaching – learning
process do really help a lot in getting higher results
than not using them since in this generation, students
are more engaged and more active when ICT is
involved. In my case, I uses the GeoGebra app for
graphs, allow them to search google for information,
view YouTube videos for supplementary lessons, made
a performance task where they relate their games in
our topic for Probability, allow them to use the QR
code Scanner and lastly let them make their own
presentation using the PowerPoint.

These professional links with my
colleagues as well as the seminars and
webinars have helped me a lot in
improving the way I handle my
students, especially in these
challenging times. The topics that are
discussed in these webinars as well as
the discussion with colleagues deals
mainly on how to handle the teaching
– learning process in this pandemic
therefore making it very useful and
relatable.

Reflective Summary
7.4 – Professional reflection and learning to
improve practice
Professional Standard Strand
This pandemic has been such a challenge to
both students and the teachers. Personally, this
challenge has helped me grow and explore more
in the teaching field. I was able to try more
strategies and techniques that I was not able to
do in my previous years.
Monitoring the students’ progress has been
a lot more difficult compared to having the
face-to-face classes but as what they have
mentioned during the webinars, teachers
should be able to cope up with the changes
and guide the students accordingly. With
the use of LDM course, I was able to utilize
the forms that can be utilized to complete the
task as a teacher and monitor my students
well. Also, this allows me to coordinate
effectively with the stakeholders, parents,
guardians, and everyone involved to have an
effective teaching – learning process.
