The
project
I like the idea of this
poster as it takes 2
different colours in
two different
contrasts.
Different colours that I believe will
represent the the film in the best
way that I may use on my poster.
I like the idea of the 2
colours just kept the same
showing simplicity
I like the idea of having
an emblem or symbol to
represent what I’m
creating.
I like the idea of the symbols that
represent and show what it is and
the simple colours that are used
that have been altered to make a
different take on the poster.
I like the idea of the images
from the films that are put
onto the poster and show
the type of scenery that will
be in the movie
It is good how it shows the
different characters on the
front of the poster this is
good as it lets the viewer see
who will be in the film and
what they will look like.
3. Layout 1
The project
Will you survive the night
I like the idea of using/ having the title in the
center of the poster to catch the viewers eye
when they see it. I include a slogan that I
believe will be catchy, will be improved on final
piece. I used a dark woods which is where it
will be filmed to represent the scenery of the
trailer. On the top it includes a dark figure in
the shadows I selected this image because I
believe it best represents the antagonist that I
intend to include in the trailer and my final
poster. I use dark scenery to represent the type
of film that it will be, dark, creepy and sinister.
I like the idea of the picture of the forest at the
beginning as it gives off some light coming
from the trees but not all of it getting in, this is
good imagery for any horror film as it
represents that there will be some light in the
film however it will mostly be cut off by the
darkness.
I believe that I will be using the same type of
design on my final film trailer poster including
a lot of similarities as to what iv done here.

For this idea I have used an abandoned
house, I do not believe that I will be using
an abandoned house in my final poster but I
like the idea of it and the atmosphere that it
gives of in the poster, leaving mystery.
I used the idea of setting it up as a news
article showing that something significant I
going to happen in the story to leave the
viewer wondering what it is and what will
happen. I had the title of the film at the top
as if it is a headline for a news paper giving
tan affect of reality.
I also use a tree surrounded by mist to give
of the atmosphere of loneliness and
mystery, I believe that if something like this
is seen on camera it can create shivers.
I do not believe I will be using this poster
idea however as it doesn't seem right for
the type of trailer that I am creating
however I will take ideas from it and use
them.
