2. In this presentation, I will be looking at 4
crowdfunding campaigns with very different write-ups.
1. + POOL
2. Nourishmat
3. Gravgen, Gravity Powered Generators
4. Twerk Island – A Real Contest Movie
5. The Write-up
• I liked the write up in this kickstarter because it was very
detailed and gave all the information people needed to choose
whether to donate or not. It was fun and informative at the same
time, and made people feel not only positive about their idea
and mission, but about getting their own names on the tiles
(rewards).
8. The Write-Up
• I liked how the write-up gave a simple to understand
explanation of the product, rewards and also the history of
how it came to be. It was easy to connect with the message
as real people were involved and they seemed very
genuine and legitimate.
11. The Write-Up
• I thought this write up was very vague and didn’t give very much
information about how the money would be used exactly. The
product seemed very sketchy and the creator didn’t even give any
detailed information about how it worked because he needed to
“protect” the patent. The whole project seemed very unrealistic and I
don’t think anyone would be willing to invest in it.
14. The Write-Up
• I didn’t like this write up at all. The actual story line of the movie
was unclear and it didn’t even give details about the team
behind the campaign or how the money was going to be used
so seemed very questionable. It also said it would be and “All
Star” movie featured on MTV which is unrealistic.
