1. BeastRampz Skate park Radio Show:
Beast rampz Skate Park is a local Manchester indoor skate park currently the biggest in
Manchester, the facility offers a range of different sized ramps targeted at all ages and all
genders, this also works with many different sports from Scootering, Skateboarding, Bmxing
etc… Beast rampz Skate Park is the most popular around providing full staff time that have
quick business in entry, food service and also help with any issues or complaints that you
feel to provide. They also put on events for a range of different sports which can promote the
sport as well as the skate park, this is a good way to keep kids of the streets and a way from
any kind of trouble they could get into without the help from the park and sport.
Located in Ardwick Manchester Unit 2 Matthew Street the full details are shown on the
website so people shouldn’t have trouble finding the details for the facility for when they want
to visit, also phone numbers are shown in the Contact us section of the site.
For the radio story I am going to interview 2 people 1 being the owner of the park so he
could tell the audience about his business and what influenced him to build this vast sports
park. And also I may do a shorter interview with one of the local park riders to gather
information and tell the viewer of the show what it’s like to be involved in such a sport and
give their input of what they think of the park and what they could have been doing if the
park wasn’t built.
Search bar which provides
all the information the viewer
will need to know about the
indoor facility. Costs,
opening hours and contact
details will be shown in this
section.
2. In the show I will also be asking questions about how the skate park uses different ways of
promotion, as seen from this screenshot of the website Beastrampz.com it shows
information of upcoming events which could appeal to sports riders around the UK. Also they
keep the average site viewer updated with new products and times which will soon be
arriving at the park, previously they had stocked up on new ODI longneck handlebar grips
which could appeal to people who are in need for this product in particular.
The questions I will be asking during this interview will be based on promotion used in the
skate park for example the use of different events which are advertised frequently on their
website so I the questions I will ask will be based on how Beast promotes themselves. The
image above is off a screenshot of the Beast Rampz skate park website, as you can see
there are many links and information of current and upcoming events a news occurring in the
skate park. So a question could be about how these events e.g. “I have noticed a range of
upcoming events on your website… do these events gain better business and ultimately
promote your park?”
