1. The RyAndLiv Internet R&B Radio Show
I think our radio show is aimed at a young group of people, like age 13-20 because of the selected
songs and the genre of them I couldn’t see old people such as 20-60 listening as they’d prefer more
old music like 60’s 70’s and 90’s when they were younger. I think we’re very chatty and there is a
few breaths like spaces where we don’t speak but it’s not a formal radio show it’s allowed because
it’s internet.
Also I think to improve on our radio show or our shows in future to not fade out too quickly and we
could start talking over the music when it gets to the end to make it sound better. I think our talking
techniques are actually quite good but that could also be improved, we can find more things to talk
about when we’re doing ‘general chat’.
In the chat section I think mine and ryans talk was very chatty and we were both very confident in
talking together because we’re both friends outside of college and even though we’ve not been
friends long we’ve got an instant click and that’s what you need on radio because you can’t have an
awkward chemistry between you and your pal DJ.
Next time I could have positive opinions on the songs that we play because it’ll make the viewers
uninterested because they’ll think ‘if they don’t like the song, will i?’ so we have to keep them happy
and listening to our show.
I’m very proud of our radio show, even though there’s a few blips I like it all really, I can’t highlight
one point that I like the best because all of it is well enjoyed and fun and you can hear that in our
conversations because we’re having a laugh and I think that’s the best thing.
