RADIO & SATELLITE COMMUNICATIONS SUPERVISOR (2014 – PRESENT)
Serves as the senior enlisted advisor on all communication related issues to include single channel radio HF / VHF
/ UHF and SHF, satellite communications, telecommunications and data communications while forward deployed
on the USS Essex with the 15th Marine Expeditionary Unit.
Oversee all inventory, maintenance, and maintain direct supervision of the storage, embarkation, and movement
of all Controlled Cryptographic Items (CCI), which equals to over $2 million of government assets and equipment.
Maintain constant supervision over 35 subordinates, conducting reinforcement training on how to preserve
equipment, keeping it operational and stock list complete in harsh situations and/or environments.
Perform operational tests and adjustments on equipment; Performed preventive maintenance on antenna
systems, rigging emergency antennas and locating of telecommunications equipment failures.
Coordinate restoration of communications circuits by performing daily, weekly, monthly, and quarterly
preventive maintenance checks on radios, antennas, switchboards, satellites and multiplexers.

Documented over 8,000 hours of radio station operations conducting general and technical administration,
safety, logistics, security, communications, electronic systems operations, and preventive maintenance

updating customers on the completion of work request, certifying customer satisfaction.
