SUMMARY
I am currently a Sales Manager for an independently owed full service hotel boasting 280 guest
rooms, 20,000 sq feet of meeting space, a restaurant, starbucks, bar, concierge lounge, and a day
spa. With ten years of experience at a full service hotel, my goal is to continue my career with an
organization that will utilize my management, supervision & administrative skills to benefit
mutual growth and success.

 Radiology Technologist
 Associates Degree
 Member of RTSO – Radiology Technologist Student Organization
 Member of ASRT – American Society of Radiologic Technologist

 Develop and maintain good relationships with officials and representatives of local community
groups and companies, and attend out-of-town conventions to generate convention and group
business.
 Develop sales and marketing plans to support overall system-wide sales plans/strategies
 Coordinate group, transient and catering bookings to maximize profits.
 Monitor production of all top accounts and evaluates trends within the market
 Use property’s computerized sales management system to manage the hotel’s business,
including (but not limited to) generating reports, entering business, blocking space and
building accounts

 Attending weekly revenue meetings to discuss our position in the market as far as rates, property
improvements, marketing, sales, negotiated rates, group rates, and hotel promotions/specials.
 Attending weekly staff meetings
 Creating rooms forecasts and other reports.
 Responsible for defusing any situations that may arise between guests and/or employees.
 Responding to guest complaints or issues.
 Creating and formatting documents to be distributed to guests and staff.
 Maintaining order and work flow at the front desk.
 Ensuring that front desk employees are informed of any policy changes and enforcing them.
 Training new hires on reservations system and hotel policies/procedures
 Performing room inspections to ensure rooms are serviced properly.
 Responsible for creating and organizing group room blocks
 Imputing group rates, market segments, room types
 Maintaining organization of group contracts, resumes, rooming lists, payments.
 Attending pre-con meetings as requested
 Creating internet reservation codes and booking links.
 Monitoring group blocks to ensure reservations are being made correctly
 Preparing for groups prior to arrival- Pre-keying rooms and registration forms
 Preparing and completing billing process (direct billing and routing)
 Communicating with group contact throughout process
 Data entry (excel, word, pp, ms outlook express)
 Answering and routing telephone calls
 Handling telephone inquiries and making room reservations
 Responsible for coordinating hotel rewards program
 Distribution of e-mails and memos
 Supervision of employees in all departments in the hotel on scheduled MOD Shifts
