Service Department Administrator
Aqua-Chem provides water purification solutions for multiple industries worldwide: Bottled Water,
Pharmaceutical, Energy, Industrial and Military
The Service Department employs nine technicians; the Administrator is responsible for dispatching the
technicians to scheduled service visits worldwide which entails and includes the following duties:
• Daily e-mail correspondence, phone calls, maintain customer files, schedule service
• Create and submit customer quotes, complete billing/invoicing
• Make arrangements and complete necessary documents for service visits
• Consult with the Parts and Engineering Departments on solutions for customer issues
• Apply for Visa’s and Background Checks for the Service Technicians
• Provide required security documents for Military service visits
• Provide required training documents for technicians to provide offshore service (oil rigs)
• Complete and submit Procedure and Safety documents to shipyards in order for technicians to be
allowed access to Navy ships as well as documentation required by International accounts
• Apply for and maintain Security Passes for access to shipyards
• Oversee shipments of parts and tools necessary for service visits
• Review/proof/edit Field Service Reports that are submitted by the technicians for each service
visit and distribute to appropriate personnel for follow-up with solutions to issues

Oak Ridge National Laboratory is a multi-program science and technology laboratory for the U.S.
Department of Energy
As a Subcontractor, my duties were as follows:
• Due to a move to a new facility, I assisted scientists in two separate laboratory divisions,
consisting of 55 offices, with cleaning out and organizing their spaces to reduce their paper
imprint
• Created an online database for converted data, scanned and indexed documents; consisting of
scientific findings covering the past 30 years. Created filing systems for documents that required
continued hands-on usage.
• Registered, indexed and prepared scientific notebooks for long-term storage according to DOE
guidelines
• Developed relationships within the scientific sector to create a system in which the scientists are
able to obtain and utilize documents in a more timely and efficient manner
• Assisted with overall administrative needs within the records department
Dentistry for Children, Oviedo, FL June 2009-March 2010
Front Desk
Dentistry for Children is a Pediatric Dental Office. The Front Desk duties were as follows:
• Responsible for performing administrative duties in support of Dentistry for Children. Functions
included answering multiple phone lines, customer/patient appointments/inquiries and confirming
patient appointments. Optimized the front office area and filing systems to create a more efficient
working environment.

Cedar Bluff Dental Center, Knoxville, TN February 2007 – May 2009
Financial Assistant/Front Desk
Cedar Bluff Dental Center is a Family Dental Practice. The Financial Assistant/Front Desk duties were as
follows:
• Responsible for performing administrative duties in support of Cedar Bluff Dental Center.
Functions included ordering office and dental supplies, answering multiple phone lines,
customer/patient appointments/inquiries and confirming patient appointments. Optimized the
front office area and filing systems to create a more efficient working environment.
• Dealt with personal identifiable information in a secure manner within HIPPA regulations and
guidelines
• Verified dental insurance coverage and allowable charges and processed patient and insurance
claim payments and investigated claim issues related to unpaid insurance claims
• Processed referrals to specialists for further dental care. Provided doctor prescribed treatment
plans to patients
• Checked-out patients, entered billing information, collected payment and scheduled next
appointment using the dental software Eaglesoft and Softdent
Credit Union Times, West Palm Beach, FL February 1998 – April 2006
Advertising Director
Credit Union Times is a national weekly publication serving the Credit Union industry. The Advertising
Director duties were as follows:
• Developed advertising department and practices, which were not in place at the time of hire
• Established and developed guidelines for advertising operations
• Assisted in development of advertising and circulation marketing materials
• Managed a sales staff of five advertising representatives located throughout the country
• Assisted in placement of advertisements in the publication
• Documented all advertising revenue on Excel spreadsheets

standards
