9. AIM OF THE STUDY
To review the specification IS:4991-1968 in comparison with
other norms available to provide inputs required for the up
gradation of IS norm under current scenario of blasts.

10. OBJECTIVE OF THE STUDY
1. To calculate natural time period of blast loading through analysing, calculating and
comparing the following parameters:
q Comparison of Indian standards with other available standards.
q Study and evaluation of transformation factors.
q Evaluation of Biggs Shape Functions for elastic and plastic range.
2. To provide the spreadsheet for the single storey building to make the analysis simple.
3. To do non-linear analysis of RC Front wall having single degree of freedom system.
