5. A Safe Workplace
We are passionate about making
Australian workplaces safer
which results in saving lives.
No matter what workplace health and safety
challenge you face, whether one time only advice
or a full range of services, we are ready to work
with you to assess your needs, evaluate options
and develop solutions.
A workplace with a poor safety culture and without
adequate safety systems in place is susceptible
to work-related injuries and illness.
A positive safety culture allows you to gain a
reputation as an employer that values their
employees.
This can be a major point of difference from your
competitors, making it easier to attract and retain
key people for your organisation.
Safety decisions are made in complex physical,
psychological and social environments. This is
taken into consideration when recommending
WHS services and safety programs.
We align ourselves with organisations that have
strong positive values and business ethics similar
to our own. We work on the premise that as partners
working together we will achieve stronger results
and more meaningful change.

13. Efficient, Effective & Safe
All employers have a legal and
moral responsibility to ensure that
employees are systematically and
adequately trained to do the work
required of them both now and in
the future. That is, to do their work
effectively, efficiently and safely.
Preventing accidents should be a key priority for
everyone at work. Providing WHS training and safety
information will help to:
»» Ensure workers are not injured or made ill by
the work they do;
»» Develop a positive health & safety culture;
»» Help workers understand and manage risks;
»» Meet your legal duty to protect the health
& safety of your employees.
Our range of courses are suitable for every level
of your organisation. Training at all levels ensures
each person is aware of their responsibilities, and
the organisation’s policy is carried out.
This results in the improvement of the physical,
mental, and social well being of every person in
the organisation.
The organisation also benefits indirectly through
reduced costs associated with personal and
property damage.
We are currently offering the following training:
»» Workplace Health & Safety General Training;
»» Manual Handling Training;
»» Globally Harmonised System (GHS)
Awareness.
14. Mock Trials
“I found the “mock trial” experience very thought
provoking and a call to action in a number of areas.
I’m keen to have all of our senior management and
operational leaders attend a mock trial”
General Manager - Operations & Service Delivery
15. High Impact Training
A mock trial is a simulated court
case that offers a “real life”
element to your training.
Mock trials are a fun way to engage an audience to
challenge their thinking through:
»» identifying potential risks including gaps in
systems and processes;
»» reflecting on cultural vulnerabilities;
»» highlighting opportunities for continuous
improvement; and
»» showcasing how laws are practically
interpreted and the effect this can have on
your organisation.
A mock trial delivers an interactive and high
impact approach to training. Each case highlights
typical practical and legal failings experienced by
most organisations in real life.
Mock trials can be delivered to all levels of
the organisation. Conducted in a court room
environment, three people play the role of
witnesses, two people play the role of the Judge
and Court Officer, and the remainder of the
participants form the jury.
Sessions can be tailored for any level of the
organisation and to the depth of information
required. The premise of the session is to
highlight the importance each worker plays in
managing risk and changing the culture across
the organisation.
Our mock trial program can address a business
specific scenario or chose from one of our
prepared scenarios in:
»» Workplace Health & Safety;
»» Bullying & Harassment;
»» Food Safety; and
»» Compliance.

at matching my personality and work style.”

another large recruitment company with very
poor results.
Safety Australia were very quick to understand
the Health & Safety function and this was
evident in the quality and importantly the ‘fit’ of
candidates we received.
My experience in dealing with Safety Australia
has been positive and should I need to recruit
again, I will be using this Company.”
Brian Selmes - Manager Health & Safety
Testimonials
19. “All of the people I dealt with were very helpful,
always following up ... and remained in contact even
after I started.”
Kelly Palmer - Snr Advisor, Health & Injury Management
“Easily one of the best recruitment agencies I have
dealt with. Definitely one to recommend to others.”
TJ Phillips - OFSC Compliance Manager
“From the initial phone conversation through
to the placement, the regular phone contact
was great and not something I had experienced
before from an agency. Normally you’re the one
who has to do the chasing”
