The tsas Simple Training Week—North Shields YMCA September2011
Many businesses have too few employees to make it viable to host safety training courses “in house” and as a result employers
can not provide the levels of training and competence required. The Simple Training Week has been developed to allow busi-
nesses to train as few as 1 employee at a time in key safety topics. The program will be hosted by experienced trainer Martin
Taylor (PGCE) and will be held in the Tyneside resort of North Shields. The subjects available are:-
British Safety Council Level 1 Award in Health and Safety (1 day)
CIEH Level 2—Manual Handling (1/2 day)
CIEH Level 2—CoSHH Essentials (1/2 day)
Risk Assessment For Supervisors (1 day)
Accident Investigation For Supervisors (1 day)
