We collect, transport, treat, recycle, recover and dispose of residential, commercial and
industrial waste.

As much as we can, sending waste back to work, and if it can’t possibly be recycled, it can still

waste materials, using it to create electricity. We do this at our world-class Redvale energy park
and landfill facility north of Auckland.
We have the resources to take care of the waste people generate in a safe and sustainable

8. Your employment
Your employment with Waste Management is essentially governed by your contract of
employment and Waste Management Policies, in conjunction with this Manual. This section

10. Legal Parameters of your Role
The central duty of a new Manager at Waste Management is to act in good faith and in the best
interests of the company and to understand their legally defined duties and responsibilities in
relation to their Role.
At Waste Management each new Manager is required to take responsibility for two New
Zealand laws. Specifically, you will be tasked with ensuring that Health and Safety Laws are
complied with by employees, so that all employees are safe at work, as well as ensuring
employees are aware of the Privacy Principles of this Country.
The safe and healthy workplace is employer and employees responsibility then they must work
in team literally to achieve goals around this matter always must be aware of the employment
relations act 2000 advices towards hazards elimination or minimization.
Your everyday concern must be about employees health and safety which is their right assured
by law otherwise they might getting involved in serious harm what can even result in their death.

and Safety are toward safe workplace for all collaborators and some more topics listed below.
Be responsible for providing a safe working environment
Ensure you are properly trained and supervised so you can work safely
Identify hazards in the workplace
Ensure that those hazards are eliminated, isolated and minimized
Eliminate hazards where possible, depending on how much harm it could cause and
how difficult and expensive it would be. Where a hazard cannot be eliminated you have
the right to know about the hazard and what you need to do (or not do) to work safely

11. Privacy Principles
Please note the following considerations that you are responsible for in the legal area of Privacy
Principles that set out how agencies may collect, store, use and disclose personal information
(Privacy Commissioner).
The Privacy Act composed of 12 information privacy principles (as showed below) and you must
bear in mind all of them and having any question the legal department is at your disposal to
clarify and help you out.
Purpose of collection of personal information only if it is really a need

Storage and security of personal information must be sure there are safeguards against

member will be held.
Your commitment is follow it very strictly because breaking the code of ethical conduct can
result in termination or dismissal from Waste Management so it is important be guided by these
principles as it provides a preventive warning.

15. To be a successful Project Manager at Waste Management you will:
Be adept at managing and overseeing the delivery of multiple projects running
simultaneously from pre-construction trough to final handover.
Have a minimum of 5 years fit out and in project management with experience across
either or a combination of the construction, healthcare, hotel and maintenance sectors.
Be capable of and responsible for managing from NZD 200,000 to NZD 1M+ in value
Be a positive leader who can inspire team members and clients alike, is customer
focused with a commitment to delivering fantastic outcomes and growing our brand
reputation even further.
Have an excellent attention to detail, including plans, various documentation as well as
strong written and presentation skills with proficiency with technology.
Build positive trusted relationships with customers, suppliers, subcontractors,
colleagues and leadership.
Have the ability to foresee roadblocks, successfully troubleshoot and manage issues as
they arise. You are someone who takes and entrepreneurial and collaborative approach
to providing solutions that deliver amazing results for customers and four our business.

team members, leadership, partner brands, trades, project site teams and the customer.

Your day-to-day responsibilities will include:
Planning, programming, executing, monitoring and closing projects.
Managing the delivery of all points of waste management industry.
Working closely and or leading other project managers, project coordinators, site
managers and other team for best possible outcomes.
Liaise with all relevant parties such as designers and subcontractors in a positive and
professional way
Managing OH&S responsibilities for the project.
Managing & report on all project financials weekly.
