11. Academic History
In my previous school (Norton College) I achieved a level 5 grade
in every subject including my chosen subjects and required ones.
My chosen subjects were- business, economics, history and
media where I got a level 2 distinction. I had good attendance
and good punctuality at the school as well as never really getting
in trouble.
12. Current Study
I am currently studying level 3 creative media in year 2. Last year
my grade was a pass which allowed me to get into the second
year, I hope to improve on this grade for the end of this year.
Once again, I had good punctuality and attendance last year
which I plan to keep up for this year. I am enjoying this course as
it allows me to create pieces of media that are fun and are
relevant to me.
13. The Future
For the future I would like to attend university and finish with a
BA (Hons) and then move onto full time work. I would love to
work at a huge film production company as my long term end
goal but until them, I will try to get jobs in the media industry,
whether that be advertisements for small companies or making
low budget films and then work my way up to big companies like
Universal or Marvel Studios.
14. Outside College
Outside college I have a part time job as a kitchen porter which
takes up most of my time but I enjoy playing football casually
and occasionally attend Liverpool games and I also attend an
explorers group in my local area. I also have a strong passion for
cars, so I occasionally go to car shows as well.
15. Conclusion
I want to go to university as I feel it will give me the best
opportunity to move onto a high skilled and high paid job in the
future. I put effort into work I am very interested in as I can get
very passionate about a topic.
16. Introduction
I am applying for film making/production as I fell this is the
course most suited towards me and will give me the experience I
need to get a high skilled job in the future. I am passionate about
film making so by doing a course I enjoy I am more likely to be
engaged and enjoy the work.
