11. Introduction
• I will be applying for a media based course,
preferably a sports media course. I think going
to university to do this course would be a
good idea as the ones I have seen offer work
experience and client work which will help me
gain a way into the industry
12. Academic History
• At GCSE level I completed 2 years of Media
Studies, this gave me an introduction into the
world and let me try out different areas of
production. I Went on to do half a year of
Photography and Media studies at a level,
photography helped me get another feel for
what a different aspect of the field was like.
Now doing a creative media course which has
really helped me get to understand what area
and fields I enjoy the most.
13. Current Study
Whilst doing creative media ive been able to
gather a much more expansive feel for what
areas of media id like to do. Its helped me
realise what I can and cant do and has givene
me a much better platform to be able to choose
potential university courses.
14. The Future
I would really like to find a way into working in
football media. I enjoy sports photography and
being able to be pitch side taking photos.
However as I really enjoy Football and the art of
media wether it be photography, videography or
social, I would just really like to be able to work
within the area.
15. Outside College
• Outside college I work part time at sainsburys
and I am currently trying to find work
placement / work expeirience working on
football matches.
16. Conclusion
• Going to university has the potential to help
me achieve a way into the sports media world,
with a degree and potential work or client
experience
