This document discusses what the author has learned about various technologies from creating an opening sequence for a media project. The author learned how to film using an iPad, including how to mount it on a tripod and add effects. They also learned how to upload iPad clips to a Mac and edit them using iMovie, gaining skills in editing and technical skills. Through their media work, the author also learned how to use blogger to upload assignments and share work, developing computing and IT skills. Additionally, they learned how to use Prezi to create presentations and SlideShare to upload videos and presentations to their blog.

What have you learned about technologies
from the process of constructing this product ?

2.  This year in media I have learned a lot of things and this is all
because of the fact that I was able to create an opening
sequence with my group and it had allowed me to learn about
the different techniques that were needed in order for it to get to
where it is now.

3. IPAD
 In media I was able to learn how to film with an iPad and how to
create specific effects that were going to look really good, the
way in which I had learned to film on these were by putting
home onto a tripod and just moving the iPad to the place it was
needed. I also learnt how to upload the clips onto the Mac’s, we
were able to edit them and get them to the standard we had
wanted, the fact that you could add different features and
transitions allowed the clips to look better than the way they
were before.

4. IMOVIE
 The first time I had used the software iMovie was when we had
filmed our preliminary task and the reason why we had all used it
was to edit the task that was given to us. Then I had used it again
with my group when we were doing our opening sequence,
when I used it the second time I knew more features and was
able to add things that I thought I couldn’t. the skills that I have
gained from using this software are technical and editing skills
and making sure that there was good enough communication
with the group to get the opening sequence done on time.

5. BLOGGER
 Media has allowed me to learn how to upload things onto the
blog and allow people to see the work that I am doing, the fact
that every time we were given a task and we had to upload it
onto the blog making sure it looked nice allowed me to develop
my skills in computing and also now I am able to upload videos
and PowerPoints. This has developed my IT skills even further as I
am now aware on how to use this software in the future.

6. PREZI AND SLIDESHARE
 I am now aware on how to use Prezi and how to make
PowerPoints which I can therefore place onto my blog, also now I
can also upload specific music clips and my work onto slideshare
and post it up on my blog.
