1. 6 – What have you learnt about
technologies from the process of
constructing the product?

2. When starting my media
studies course I have
uploaded all of my work to
my blog where I could
share my work and let my
teacher comment and look
at the blogs.
When using PowerPoint I
have managed to layout
my work and research in a
original manner. Also the
program allowed me to
upload the presentation to
slide and upload the slide
share file as a HTML to
blogger.
The social media Facebook I
have used it to get feedback
from our viewers and gain
interest in the media product
that we have produced.
When using slide share It
allowed me to upload my
power points and place them in
my blog, this made every thing
more seamless and accessible.

3. I have taken a different
approach with Prezi with
laying out my research and
questions in a interesting
manner that is not boring
to look at and it is easily
accessible, also with an
option to leave feedback.
The Final Cut Express
software allowed me and
my group to edit and
manage our recorded
media, this was a difficult
program to start with but
with time it became easier
to navigate and edit the
videos to a high standard.
Adobe After Effects was the most
challenging program to navigate
with, using it for the first time I
have looked for help from a
handy website with all the
tutorials on how to create exciting
animated text and add effects to
it. Using this program I have
created our movie title.

4. Using the Nikon d3200
slr camera we have
been able to record
the videos that where
used in our media
product. Also we have
recorded some
photographs through
out the filming period.
My personal home PC
allowed me to work on
my media product away
from school, I have
worked with video
rendering animating of
the movie title text and
writing all of my blog
posts. This pc allowed
me to record a skype
conference regarding
the final task questions.
We have chosen to use YouTube for our
movie release because there is a high
and big community from the Media
Studies, this allowed us to gather
feedback from other people. Also the
interface was simple and you could do
simple and quick changes to the video.
Apple Mac Pro this computer me
and my group have used to edit our
videos together and work on our
production logo, and movie poster
for out Facebook movie page.
I have used my phone to quickly
note down any important notes
take pictures/videos and display
the script which was easily
accessible through Microsoft
world and school e-mail, the use
of this phone eliminated the
hassle of carrying laptops and
other hardware.
