Duties, Accomplishments and Related Skills:
This was my Bachelors practice center where I worked some specialized
duties in the areas of marketing and communications. I had the privilege to be
part of a team that worked to create, promote, coordinate and host events and a
radio program. I learned how to express myself in the radio following the
standard procedures , the group always had the focus on keeping everything
professional. The radio experience included to create a virtual calendar and fill
it with speakers that we had to contact and confirm their assistance. Every
contact we made had to be recorded in a data base we had that included their
name, company, comments, contact numbers and emails Had experience in
selling and contacting potential buyers of spaces of promotions in our radio
program and the events that we were hosting. In the event area had the
experiences of contacting sponsors and accommodate them in their respective
assigned areas. Guiding the event as planned was the main focus in every
activity. Had an event Facebook page under my responsibility of a renewable
energy expo and was very productive and helpful in promoting and contacting
our main market of the event. Constantine negotiations and talking with
businessmen, government figures and professionals was a daily task. I learned
to work with a team that everyone had a different strong ability that causes a
very good chemistry because everyone had each others back. For the time I
was there was an increase in audience, events, money, communication skills,
teamwork, analysis and a better reach in promotions.

Duties, Accomplishments and Related Skills:
For the seven months I worked for Disney I received an exceptionally good
training. The job started off showing us the importance of safety in each
procedure, for both the individual and the group setting. I worked with
chemicals daily, used heavy objects constantly, and had to follow procedures
exactly as instructed. Though as an individual I had many responsibilities, this
job taught me to work as a group. I learned to rely on others when needed.

2. Since I had a good relationship with coworkers and I could also get the job
done, I was often instructed to supervise the duties of others. It was necessary
to maintain the quality of the hotel so efficiency was key. Every day
supervisors would set goals we had to meet which they would check after our
shifts were over. I also received training to work with and for people with
disabilities. My roles in the resort were varied: housekeeper, runner, fly squad,
house person, and special projects. The biggest perk Disney offered was the
ability to work, live, and learn for people from all over the world. This job
required full availability for I worked mornings, evenings, and sometimes
overtime.

I worked with the government of Puerto Rico under the guidance of senate
Evelyn Vazquez in The Mayaguez 2010 Central Americans & Caribbean XXI
Games. I took a couple of weeks of training with a select group of people
learning about being a tourist guide, safety procedures and how to treat people
the right way. I had to take care of the athletes of different countries and make
sure it was safe for them in the arenas. We had to serve and give an excellent
service to the event viewers. We also had to travel to different cities to work in
different arenas.I am also capable of communicating with people from around
the world. In this work experience I learned that safety is key for success and
the importance of team work.
