 Analyze training needs to develop new training programs or modify and improve existing programs for peer
district managers in the region/market.
 Plan, develop, and provide training and staff development programs, using knowledge of the effectiveness of
methods such as classroom training, demonstrations, on-the-job training, meetings, conferences, and workshops.
 Train instructors and supervisors in techniques and skills for training and dealing with employees.
Key Accomplishments:
 Co-authored the training and development program for the South Region AssistantManager onboarding and
first 90 days.
 Facilitated and authored training presentations for annual Store Manager and District Manager conferences,
including content development for topics such as workplace etiquette, coaching and motivating teams, driving
results, and profitable operations.
 Expedited the onboarding of multiple District Managers through their first 90 days through cross travel, IT
training, process training and mentoring.
District Manager (2005 – Present)
 Determine staffing requirements, interview, hire and train new employees, and oversee those personnel processes
in the 15 to 17 stores in my area.
 Promote or terminate employees when appropriate.
 Monitor locations to ensure that they efficiently and effectively provide desired customer service and drive
profitable sales while staying within budgetary limits.
 Perform sales floor work, such as greeting or assistingcustomers, stocking shelves, or taking inventory.
 Resolve any customer issues that arise in my district locations.
 Plan store layouts or design displays in conjunction with real estate/merchandising department.
 Direct and supervise employees engaged in sales, inventory-taking, and all LP/administrative functions.
 Plan and direct staffing, training, and performance evaluations to develop and control sales and service
programs.

 Grew district from $12 million in 2006 to $26 million in 2013.
