 An essential component of both physical fitness and all-
around good health.
 Refers to the ability of the heart, lungs and circulatory
system to deliver oxygen to working muscles for
sustained periods of time.

large muscle groups.

Cardiorespiratory Endurance  An essential component of both physical fitness and all- around good health.  Refers to the ability of the heart, lungs and circulatory system to deliver oxygen to working muscles for sustained periods of time. LEGS CHEST ARMS BACK  Aims to elevate the heart rate and involve the body’s large muscle groups.

Cardiorespiratory Endurance  Through regular physical activity such as dance  It allows your heart and lungs to work more efficiently  Improves your physical capacity to deal with stress and lowering your risks factors of several chronic diseases.  Benefits mental health by providing a buffer against anxiety and depression.
  • 4. DANCE  A human movement created and expressed for an aesthetic purpose.

Elements of dance Body Action Space Time Energy BOD Y - is the mobile figure of shape, felt by the dancer, seen by others.- sometimes relatively still and sometimes changing as the dancer moves in place or travels through the area. - the dancer may emphasize specific parts of the body or use whole body all at once.

Elements of dance Body Action Space Time Energy ACTION - any human movement included in the act of dancing. - may include dance steps, facial movements, partner lifts, gestures, and even everyday movements. - refers not only to steps and sequences, but also to pauses and moments of relative stillness.
