2012 to present -National Sales Manager:Re-hired by the president/owner to personally manage
multiple house accounts and re-energize and oversee rep agencies& collegiate division. My position, as a
key member of the corporate sales & marketing team comprises of CRM, on-going development of our
outside sales team, major account presentations, and profit-based sales targets that include market
development, key account expansion and soliciting new business. Major accounts include QVC, Ross,
Kitchen Collection and Walgreens (DSD).
2000 to 2009 - Director of Sales:Spearheaded gift division DBA Silver Coast Creations, TerraCoasters &
Counter Art. Managed 11 showrooms along with 22 gift rep agencies consisting of more than 250
independent sales representatives; hired, trained and developed all agencies and sales support staff; sales
represented 35% of company wholesale volume.
Key Successes Include:
Expanded mass retail key account base by promoting existing customer retention campaigns and
emphasizing new client sales. Managed 12 mass retail manufacturer representative agencies, assisting
each with major account presentations and market development. Accounts included TJMaxx, Shopko,
Kohl’s, Kroger, Amazon, Kmart and QVC; representing 30% of the company sales volume.
Appointed and trained new gift division sales team in 2001; increased gift division account base from 1K
to 3.5K by the beginning of 2002. Steadily increased active accounts to more than 8K by the end of 2008
and delivered a 600% increase throughout the 7-year period.
Entrusted by Kitchen Collection with 200+ stores with all aspects of managing product distribution
initiatives. Expanded 6 products in 1 category in 2003 to over 50 products in 9 categories by 2007.
Broadened house-account base to include 5 major east coast chains including Ross Stores, Boscovs and
Home Goods with-in 18 months of original hire.
Improved vendor consolidation at Fred Meyer by eliminating 3 competitors in glass counter savers.
Increased total business by 22% in Meijer, with 180 stores; introduced a private label branded product
category that increased retail space by 4 feet in the licensed product area.
