Logo Research

About Logo’s
Logos were created for people to easily recognized a business or corporation; it also gives an
appropriate face value that gives the viewer a good impression in first glance.
Logos are very important to a business as it allows people to recognize the business by the logo,
for example many social media platforms are recognized by their logo’s alone as so many use
them. They do this to make it memorable to the audience, so they remember the logo, but also it
separates them from other business.
One of the first thing business will do is to create a logo, in order so people would recognize the
logo but also use it on flyers, poster and much more so you can establish an audience base.
Business logos will change overtime in order to become more attention grabbing to the audience
but also to attract more attention as it will become more modern and fit in with more of the time.

What's important to design a
logo?
Colour
Emotion
The colour that you use in the logo is very important as people connect colour with a lot of things such as
emotions, objects and many other things. For example, brown is most often use for coffee or café companies as
the colour of the product is brown, this gives the view to understand that they sell coffee.
Logos can convey emotions to the views, as they do this mainly by the colour. For example, a business that
might target women might use feminine colour such as pinks combined with a flowing font, this combined sends
a clear message that the business markets towards women. The emotions associated with colours can vary
from culture to culture, as each colour can represent a different emotion.
Font
Choice
The font must be readable for the viewers to read and understood, but not so basic that won't be so
recognizable. The font can be very useful for a business as it can help viewers remember the business just by
font alone, for example Disney has created their own font so people know that is owned by Disney

Disney Logo
Disney Font
The Disney font is very recognisable as they are a very known brand, so
sing it in their other logo’s is very helpful as people will know it is there
streaming platform. Originally the font was very different and was "Walt
Disney", but they dropped the "walt" as to keep up with modern time.
They focused a lot of detail in font as it was recognisable to the
company but to also make it more unique and different from other

They use the iconic “D” Design for Disney. They have used the Disney
D in order for the view to know that is a form of Disney entertainment.
Many people easily recognize the Disney logo as it is such a big brand
in the world, this allows viewers to know that it is apart of the Disney
franchise.
Plus Symbol
The plus sign is to indicate to the views that it is Disney plus, their
streaming platform. They use the arc over it to bring more attention to
plus sign. The arc is supposed to represent eh wishing star that is very
famous in Disney's storylines and the plus sign is supposed to be like
the shooting star itself. And many people when drawing a star start with
a plus sign and then add more points.
Faded Arc
The faded arc is a big part of Disney as at the beginning of the movie
they have the Disney castle with the arc going over, this allows the
viewer to remember the arc from the movies. The Disney castle
changes in order to fit in with movie but the arc is always there in order
for people to remember the iconic Disney shooting star arch.
I very fond of the Disney logo as it is very unique font they use
and it is such a big staple on their child entertainment industry,
they basically pathed the way for childhood movies. The logo is
very recognizable as they focused a lot on the font of the logo but
also they the arc which is very recognizable as it is in every
Disney movie at the beginning over Cinderella castle.
Logo Analysis
Color
Icon
The color in the Starbuck’s logo includes deep green and white, they
use white as the main siren symbol and green for the background. They
decided to use green as its representatives the positive way the brand
treats the customers as well as it’s partners. Green is the main color of
nature, healing and wealth.
The Starbuck’s logo is a twin tailed siren as a reference to Seattle and
the sea, wanting to communicate Seattle’s closeness to the sea. The
siren has wavy wave to associate with the waves of the ocean but also to
give the siren more of a modern hair style. However, the most common
belief about it is that the siren represents obsession, addiction and
entrapment suitably meaning they want to get their consumers hooked
on Starbuck’s
Font
Circles
The bold sans serif type and block letters are used to spell out the brand’s
name in a clean and sharp way as it allowed the Starbucks’ logo to be
easily recognized by customers around the globe.
The Starbuck’s rings around the logo were very big part of the logo but
many other brands and countries began to use the rings in their logo and
people were not able to tell the difference between each other. So, they
knew they would have to change it, so their logo is more recognizable to
their logo more than fake ones.
20XX Pitch deck title 5
The Starbucks’ logo is very important in the Coffee and café industry as it
arguably one of the most popular coffee brands, they received many 5 star
views as people love their coffee. I quite like the logo design as it includes
mythical creatures and has a deeper meaning to the company so you know
more about them and feel connected to them. The circle logo was a trend in
2013 as many other companies saw the success it brought the company as
many audiences thought it was rememberable
Symbol
Colors
The symbol they use behind the title is an important type of rune they
use in the show, to show angelic powers that some of the characters
have. They have chosen this as you see it quite a lot in the show so
the viewers with remember it but also that it is very recognizable to
the fans. To a new viewer of the show, it is able to give them a feel of
what the show is about as runes are more associated with the fantasy
world and regency types of shows.
In season one logo it is brighter than season 2 as this represents how
the main character Clary realizes the world, she lives in is not as nice
and colorful as she knew it to be. They use such contrasting colors to
show that and use the red for season two, to foretell the blood, pain
and war she is about to go through during this season.
Lighting
Font
In the season 1 logo they have a bright light behind the logo to show
Clary's innocence in the normal world and her naive part of her, the
other bright colors represent her and the other characters. In season 2
the bright light is gone and replaced with dark colors to show the loss
of her innocence and truly seeing what the world is.
The font they chosen to go with is a very bold and almost ancient type
of font in order to show that the show has a long history. They chose a
grey font color and gave it a shine to make it look metal to show the
weapons they use in the show such as swords, daggers which are all
silver.

Season
2
I really like the shadow hunter's logo as it is able to really
represent the show and intrigues new viewers to find out
what the symbol truly means. It is very representable
of what the show is about and how they are able to convey
what happens in the season just based on the logo itself.
They convey many emotions through the logo, they simply
do that by changing the colors of the logo.
