WHO ARE THE HOOD?
The hood will be the first official magazine
aimed specifically towards the audience of
grime music. Each issue will include
information regarding new and upcoming
artists as well as exclusive interviews with
some of grimes hottest stars. The magazine
will also include tour dates and reviews,
This in order to give the audience the best
chance possible to not only listen to their
favourite artists live but also include
competitions for exclusive fan interaction.
Research shows the
target audience for
grime/rap music ranges
from 12-25 this means
we will have to design
our magazine in order to
suit everyone included in
this age bracket.
This is 18 year old Josh, He is a London
born teenager who has become
physically and mentally attached to the
grime genre. His music taste has even
began to impact the way he speaks,
dresses and goes about his day to day
life.
Josh enjoys being a part of the grime
scene and hopes some day he to can be
a popular mc. Josh can relate to The
artist of the grime genre as many of
them have taken a similar path in life
than he has. Growing up on the rough
council estates of London.
