Day old chick from the time of hatching is under going many stress
factors such as selection, vaccination, separation and transporta-
tion. All are extremely stressful factor for the newly born day old
chick!
During such critical time the day old chick purely relay on the re-
minder amount of egg yolk in order to survive and develop, hence
it is of utmost important that they are exposed to highly digestible
and nutritive specialized feed from the moment the day old chicks
are put into the transportation boxes from the hatchery to the actual
farm.
Two important factors should be taken care of immediately after
arrival or even before.
Eating:
Young chickens have immature intestines which can only develop and
mature when feed is passing through. The earlier the development of
the intestinal structure, the better the absorption of nutrients, the more
optimal the start-up phase. It also contributes to better absorption of
the yolk sac.
Drinking:
Dehydration might occur during the treatments at the hatchery or the
extended transport time. Absence of fresh drinking water may lead to
further development retardation or more serious issues such as gout.

is a unique tool to overcome the stressful first 48h of life.The semi-wet
extruded supplement supplies energy, nutrients, and water, even before
arrival at the farm, while at the same time the booster offers different
protective active components to ensure proper intestinal start-up.
Energy: Highly absorbable and immediately metabolisable energy
sources based on free fatty acids and simple sugars.
Nutrients: Due to the particular extrusion technology, all nutrients
(starch, sugars, proteins, vitamins and traces) are highly digestible,
which serves the purpose of start of intestinal activity.
Water: 28% of moisture is present in the supplement to ensure basic
water uptake, 15% additional water can be added to assure rehydra-
tion.
Stress relief: Vitamins (E & C) are present to support the stress de-
fence mechanism.
Intestinal development: Active components are included to avoid
pathogen proliferation, stimulate feed intake and stimulate intestinal
immune development.

the facility (only during 1 day).
