on the respondents, with 92.9% wanting the artist to be
feature in their video.
The respondents would also like a story to unfold
throughout the video- a narrative video.

happens in many mainstream pop videos in the charts
(the most popular genre in our respondents.)

7. From the results, colour seems to have a varied impact
on people, with en equal amount of respondents being
put off by either black an white videos, or black and
white with a single highlighting colour.
46.4% are not put off at all by colour.
Multiple locations are widely desired, with the large
majority preferring this to just a single location.

song, is too much diegetic sound.
The use of the original artist seems important too, with
this being a close second factor, along with the length of
the video also putting people off the song.
57.1% of respondents were led to buy the song after
watching the video, which, surprisingly isn’t a great
amount due to the fact that is one purpose of music
videos.
