5. Mood Board Analysis
Is there any repetition in the images you have collected? Repeated
colours/images styles/fonts/tone/mood
• The colours yellow, red and green are Rasta colours which are used repetitively in my mood
board. I will uses these colours in all my productions except my poster so that I don’t use it all the
time. The reason as to why I will use these colours is that these colours are deeply symbolic of
Reggae and its culture.
• The colours are consistently vibrant and complimentary, which causes the product to be very
aesthetic. I have collected a lot of these images because I will uses similar colour styles within my
own products because they are symbolic of reggae
• Font styles are often informal, rounded and are usually not in perfect placement, centrally.
How will your mood board influence your final product?
• The mood board will influence my product because it will layout ideas and I can look at to inspire
even more ideas and remind me of ideas that I had forgotten.
6. Informal Proposal
Current Idea
Concept The concept of my product is a group of music Items from an artist called Ali Marley.
Type of
products you
would make
• T-Shirts
• Posters
• Album Cover
• Magazine
What you will
need to make
them
I will need Photoshop because it’s the only software available that has the tools to
create the products that I’m creating.
Audience The main age demographic is aged 25-44 Years
years old because that’s the age in which my most people would enjoy my products
at, because my poducts are modernised versions of products from an older
generation (neo-reggae). My audience psychographic is emulator because I think
that my audience would be the type of audience to want to appear like achievers to
attract the opposite sex an peers. My audience would also have a Type A social
status because my audience would be the type of audience to want to make the
world a better place, especially since Reggae has a large influence on nuture ana
natural resources because of the religion and social movement of Rastafarianism
7. Choices
Discounted ideas Reasons for not choosing this
project
Game • Making a game is usually hard and time consuming,
especially with the animation and the editing.
Because of this, I decided I was not going to do this
project.
• Similarly to the film project, I didn't really have a
clean idea in my head about what genre and style I
was going to use within my project. This made my
decising choosing game weaker because I felt like I
would have gone it, not knowing what to do.
Film • Film creation is time consuming and I don't have the
resources (camera and props) to make a high quaility
film.
• I stuck on what genre and style of film I was going to
make so I decided to not choose this project.
